In 1963 Bill Caligari was approached by the Dealer Supply Co. about becoming one of the first Taylor Rental stores in the country. Bill agreed and opened a rental department in the corner of his paint store with $15,000 worth of contractor's equipment. Seven years later in 1970 as the rental business grew, Bill purchased a nearby warehouse that he refurbished for his expanding rental business. Bill soon added heavy equipment, party supplies, trucks, and aerial lifts to his ever growing operation. Taylor Rental and the Caligari family celebrated their 57th year in 2020 as one of the oldest Taylor Rental Centers in the country! Taylor serves Berkshire County, NW Connecticut and New York State, as the most complete rental center in the Tri State area!
